Armada Antimatter 114 Skis 2027

The Armada Antimatter 114 Skis 2027 are Max Palm’s flagship big‑mountain freeride tools, built to blend powerful stability with a surprisingly playful, surfy feel when you open things up in deep and variable snow.

Rider Type Big‑mountain and freeride skiers chasing steep lines and soft snow
Ability Strong advanced to expert
Rocker/Profile Directional Freestyle Rocker with twin‑inspired tip and tail
Tip/Waist/Tail (mm) 138 / 114 / 132 @ 187 cm

Designed in close collaboration with Max Palm, the Antimatter 114 sits at the heart of Armada’s new Antimatter freeride family and replaces the old Declivity big‑mountain platforms with a more progressive, surf‑inspired feel. At 114 mm underfoot, it delivers the float you want for storm days and freeride venues, while the long, low rocker line in the multi‑radius tip keeps plenty of effective edge on tap so the ski feels composed in chop and mixed snow rather than just loose. Underfoot, Armada’s Speed Metal construction uses tapered metal layers over a poplar core to add damping and torsional strength where you need it, then reduce swing weight and keep the extremities feeling lighter and more manoeuvrable. The straighter, kicked tail profile helps the tail sink and release when you want to smear or slarve, but still supports switch landings and playful moves. With multiple mount lines, including Max’s more centred position, the Antimatter 114 can be tuned for either a more directional charger feel or a freestyle‑leaning, pivot‑happy ride.

114 mm freeride platform: Wide waist tailored for deep days and soft‑snow venues while still holding together in chop and mixed conditions. Speed Metal laminate: Tapered titanal around a poplar core that brings damping and edge power without killing the ski’s energy and manoeuvrability. Freestyle rocker geometry: Long, low tip rocker and supportive tail rocker that balance stability, float and the ability to drift and smear when you want. Directional twin silhouette: Unique tip and tail shaping that feels secure charging forward but still lets you ride and land switch with confidence. Competition‑proven design: Built to match Max Palm’s powerful yet fluid style, with performance already proven on big‑mountain freeride stages. Dual mount points: “Max” line and recommended line options so you can choose a more centred, freestyle stance or a slightly more traditional freeride mount.
